About Shri Gian Batra

Shri Gian Batra has been unanimously re-nominated as General Secretary of All India Public Sector Sports Control Board in the 16th Annual General Meeting held on 27th November, 2025 at New Delhi. Shri Batra is presently working in Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Guwahati carrying out the responsibilities of General Manager (HR).

Shri Batra is passionate about sports and during his posting in different stations of AAI has always involved himself with the sporting activities.

He has also been assigned the very important duties related to sports activities of AAI as Vice President, RSCB (NER).

Shri Batra’s passion for sports and skill in organizing sports events was clearly visible when AIPSSCB organized the All India Public Sector Chess Tournament at Shillong (Meghalaya) in April, 2023

Shri Batra’s passion for sports and capabilities as a sports administrator will greatly benefit the AIPSSCB.
