ONGC CMD Mr. Dinesh Kumar Sarraf has taken over as the new President of the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board (AIPSSCB). Mr. Sarraf took over the charge from the outgoing President Dr A K Balyan, former MD & CEO of Petronet LNG, in 5th Executive Board Meeting of the All India body, held in ONGC registered office at New Delhi on 18 December 2015.

ALL INDIA PUBLIC SECTOR GOLF TOURNAMENT HOSTED BY ONGC.

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna PSU of Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India, is organizing the All India Public Sector Volleyball Tournament – 2014-15. The tournament will be held from 5th to 7th March 2015 at Biju Patnaik Sports Complex, Nalco Nagar, Angul. As a member of All India Public Sector Sports Control Board, NALCO is hosting this prestigious tournament.

The All India Public Sector Sports Control Board (AIPSSCB) in coordination with Petronet LNG Limited; organized the Chess Tournamentfrom 15th November to 19th November 2014 at the Officers Club of ONGC, Vadodara, Gujarat.Ten teams from Public Sector Organizations participated in the tournament including ONGC, IOC, LIC, Air India, Airports Authority of India, Andhra Bank, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, HPCL, Petronet LNG and BHEL. .

The All India PSU Cricket Tournament for 2014 was hosted by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., (RCF) Mumbai. The same had been hosted by RCF in 1989, when they had won the event. In the intervening years, RCF also were co-hosts along with Air India.

Air India wins all-India Public Sector title. Rohit Prakash, Dheeraj Jadhav excel with the bat, while Yuzvendra Chahal’s 5-wicket haul helps Air India beat Food Corporation of India (FCI).

ONGC Chennai conducted AIPSSCB Volleyball tournament at Jawahar lal Nehru Indoor Stadium,Chennai from 6th to 9th March2014 in a grand manner. Dr. B S Josyulu, ED- Basin Manager Cauvery along with Mr. S K Wadhani, Head-HR/ER, Chennai inaugurated the tournament.

Air India received a very good response and Public Sector Units like IOC, ONGC, LIC, RBI, BHEL, MTNL, BSNL, HPCL participated in the said tournament. Air India being the host thus two teams Air India “A” & Air India “B” had participated in the said tournament.
