AIPSSCB Carrom Tournament 2015 - 2016

HPCL hosted the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board Carrom Tournament 2015-16 at the GRD College of Science, Coimbatore from March 7 to 10, 2016. About 70 players from 7 organisations viz. IOCL, LIC, RBI, BSNL, Air India, ONGC and the host HPCL, participated in the tournament.

Shri Benny Thomas, Chief Regional Manager of our Coimbatore Retail RO inaugurated the tournament on March 7, 2016.  A number of national players played in the tournament so it was a golden opportunity for the young aspirants of the game to watch their idols in this game and get some valuable tips from them.   A total 31 break-to-finish and 7 black-to-finish were registered during the tournament.

The Prize Distribution function was held on March 10, 2016 and Shri R. Radhakrishnan, General Manager-ERP of HPCL was the Chief Guest at the function. 

All the participants expressed their satisfaction over various arrangements made during the tournament.  All in all the tournament proved to be a great success.
